Since November 2003, Gothia Towers and the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre have been certified with category 1 for “Accessibility without assistance” as per the Nordic Council on Disability Policy’s ‘Tourism for all’ programme. Gothia Towers has six rooms for disabled, located on the fourth floor of the West Tower. The rooms are designed for wheelchair users, with extra space in the hall and bedroom for better accessibility. The bathrooms have a shower, wheelchair-accessible toilet and sink. A shower chair can be delivered to the room on request.

For the airport bus to Landvetter Airport, the first and last stop is at Korsvägen outside the hotel. Timetable in the conference reception. One-way trip costs about SEK 99 and takes about 20 minutes. The airport bus to Göteborg City Airport departs from Nils Ericssonsplatsen, by the Central Station.
Next to the reception is a room where hotel guests can store their baggage.
The closest bank is on Kungsportsavenyn (The Avenue). For foreign exchange we recommend Forex, also on The Avenue. At Mässans gata 16 there is an online bank (SEB Bank) and ATMs.

If you wish to exercise, our Gym is free for all guests and located in our Central Towers on the 19th floor. Take the lift up to the Spa reception on 20th floor and the stairs to 19th floor. Valhalla swimming centre are situated about 200 meters from the hotel. Tickets at a reduced price can be bought at the front desk.

The trip from the hotel lobby up to the restaurant Heaven 23 takes 30 seconds in the glass lift. It’s in the West Tower and it also stops on floors 18-22.
Entry to the gym at Upper House is free for Gothia Towers hotel guests. Please change in your room and take the elevator up to the Spa reception on the 20th floor and we will show you to the gym.(If you wish to visit our Gym when the Spa is closed, please take the elevator directly to the 19th floor.)

Newspapers, sweets, tickets and much more is available at Pressbyrån – a newsstand at Korsvägen, about 100 metres from Gothia Towers.
A short walk away is Gothenburg’s famous boulevard, The Avenue, with dozens of restaurants and bars. And right around the corner are several entertainment venues such as Scandinavium, Rondo, the Liseberg Theatre and the Concert Hall. The Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre, which includes Gothia Towers, prioritizes safety and security. All staff are trained in fire safety, evacuation and first aid. Gothia Towers is the first hotel in Sweden to be certified by Safehotels, a global organization for hotel security. Gothia Towers is also “well protected against fire”, according to the voluntary classification system of the Swedish Fire Protection Association.

Korsvägen, the intersection located opposite the main entrance of the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre, is a major interchange for many of Gothenburg’s bus and tram lines.
